Stress Management Tip – Dealing With Airport Stress

With the additional stresses placed upon us with air travel, it is helpful to know how to deal with the stress that is created during our travels.  Here are some of the things we can do to deal with the stress when we are flying the friendly skies.

Leave for the airport early. – This will reduce the stress of not making your flight.  There is nothing like a white-knuckled mad driving trip to the airport to make your flight.  Lot’s of stress there.

Understand the check-in and gate layout – do you have a 2 minute walk to the gate, or a 20 minute walk to the gate?  Knowing the layout and time to get to the gate will make a big difference in being able to plan a less stressful flight.
